I got the look

I do love the look I get from people…

At the time of writting this (3 days ago in my little note book) I was lying in the middle of the road  in the international airport of Charleroi, Brussel. I was getting ready to spend a 12 hour night there and was just enjoying the last bit of daylight before I would have to retire indoors to get some warmth into my body.

As I lay there leaning against my boardbag with my legs tapping against the pole in front of me to the rhythm of the sound beeing prodused by my trusty old Ipod. I watch how people either are completly unaware of my presants there or stare, glare, smile, nod and give me a whole lot of other unidentifiable looks I can’t quite understand… I sit there and wonder what these people think about when they see characters like myself. It seems to me like most of them can’t really understand how I can just lay there not giving a shit about what anybody thinks with a bag they can’t imagen what contains…

Back in the day I would probebly have been looked appon, by most, as some trashy drop out with my long greasy hair wearing a pair of baggies (smimming shorts for those of you who dont know what that is) and a old T-shirt with my beat up bag full of holes. There are as a mater of fact still quite a few people who seem to think this but there are also the other people who find me fasinating enough to ask me what my story is, and after they hear it they acctualy seem to respect me a whole lot more then they could have imagened. This is because us surfers who travel a lot are, whether we like it or not, a very uniuqe group of people. Each with our own uniqe story.
